    • V
      vrileyAug 19, 2025
If your Asko Dishwasher isn't starting, ensure you press and hold the Start/Stop button until the display indicates 'Program started, close door in 4 sec.' Make sure the door is fully closed within four seconds of pressing Start/Stop. If you opened the dishwasher mid-cycle, press Start/Stop again and close the door promptly. Also, verify that the fuse/circuit breaker hasn't tripped, the dishwasher is plugged in, and the water supply valve is open. Check for any overflow/leaks. If a whirring sound persists even when the power is off, turn off the water supply, unplug the unit, and contact customer support. Lastly, ensure the Delayed Start option isn't unintentionally selected by pressing and holding Start/Stop for three seconds to cancel it.

What to do if my Asko DFI663.U Dishwasher leaves dishes not clean?
    • E
      Emily MoralesAug 21, 2025
If your Asko Dishwasher is leaving dishes unclean, start by checking that the spray arms can rotate freely and are not blocked by dishes. If the spray arm holes or bearings are blocked, clean the spray arms (refer to the Care and maintenance instructions). Ensure you're using a suitable dishwashing program, selecting one with Intensive mode (Heat Boost) for very dirty dishes. Verify you're using the correct detergent dosage based on your water hardness, and that your detergent isn't too old. Load dishes correctly, avoiding overcrowding or covering them with large items. Secure glasses and cups to prevent them from toppling over. Finally, check that the filters are correctly fitted and that the drain pump stop is in place (refer to the Care and maintenance instructions).

      Scott SmithAug 26, 2025
If your Asko Dishwasher leaves spots on stainless steel or silver, it may be due to certain foods like mustard, mayonnaise, lemon, vinegar, or salt. Rinse these foods off dishes if you're not starting the dishwasher immediately, or use the Rinse and hold program. Also, prevent contact between different metals like silver, stainless steel, and aluminum during washing to avoid marks and tarnishing.

If your Asko Dishwasher leaves spots or films on the dishes, the rinse aid dosage setting might be incorrect (refer to the Settings chapter). Also, high temperatures or too much detergent can cause etching on crystal. Wash crystal at a low temperature with a conservative amount of detergent and contact the detergent manufacturer.
