Why won't my Asko DFI663.U Dishwasher start?

  If your Asko Dishwasher isn't starting, ensure you press and hold the Start/Stop button until the display indicates 'Program started, close door in 4 sec.' Make sure the door is fully closed within four seconds of pressing Start/Stop. If you opened the dishwasher mid-cycle, press Start/Stop again and close the door promptly. Also, verify that the fuse/circuit breaker hasn't tripped, the dishwasher is plugged in, and the water supply valve is open. Check for any overflow/leaks. If a whirring sound persists even when the power is off, turn off the water supply, unplug the unit, and contact customer support. Lastly, ensure the Delayed Start option isn't unintentionally selected by pressing and holding Start/Stop for three seconds to cancel it.

Secure glasses and cups to prevent them from toppling over. Finally, check that the filters are correctly fitted and that the drain pump stop is in place (refer to the Care and maintenance instructions).

  If water remains in your Asko Dishwasher above the filters, start by cleaning the coarse and fine filters. Ensure the filters are correctly fitted and locked in the stop position. Check for debris in the drain pump and clean it (refer to the Care and maintenance instructions). Make sure the drain pump stop is in place (refer to the Care and maintenance instructions). Inspect the drain hose for kinks and ensure it's not blocked, checking the cone-shaped part of the drain boot.
