Overview

The Aspire Lifecomfort Active Air BARI 10 Alternating Mattress Replacement is an electrically operated mattress system designed for the prevention and relief of pressure injuries, particularly for bariatric adult patients at high to very high risk. It aims to optimize patient comfort and enhance healing through alternating therapy. This product is suitable for various environments, including home care, aged care, and hospitals.

Function Description:

The system comprises a digital mattress pump and a mattress replacement. The pump features digital pressure adjustment, multiple mode selections, patient turning capabilities, and audiovisual alarms. The mattress itself consists of 20 alternating air cells and is covered with a multi-stretch, vapor-permeable fabric. It operates on the principle of alternating air pressure to redistribute pressure, reduce friction and shear, and optimize skin microclimate.
