Partitioning volumes
You need to partition the hard disk drive volumes for the operating system before
you can store/backup data on the drive.
Before partitioning volumes, back up your data and delete any previously
dened partition.
3. Under Storage, select Disk Management. The Windows
®
Disk Manager
opens.
To partition volumes:
1. Boot your computer and enter the Windows
®
operating system.
2. Right-click
My Computer on your desktop. Select Manage from the pop-up
window.
