3.4.3 AHCI Conguration
This menu is the section for AHCI conguration. It appears only when you set the item
Congure SATA as from the submenu of SATA Conguration to [AHCI].
SATA Port1–6 [XXXX]
Displays the status of auto-detection of SATA devices.
SATA Port1–6 [Auto]
[Auto] Allows automatic selection of the device type connected to the
system.
[Not Installed] Selects this option if no SATA devices are installed.
SMART Monitoring [Enabled]
S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitor system.
When read/write of your hard disk errors occur, this feature allows the hard disk to
report warning messages during the POST.
[Enabled] Enables the SMART monitoring feature.
[Disabled] Disables the SMART monitoring feature.
3.4.4 System Information
This menu gives you an overview of the general system specications. The BIOS automatically
detects the BIOS information, CPU specication, and system memory in this menu.
