Ringer tone
You can choose one of 10 ringer tones.
1. Press MENU/SELECT in idle mode to enter the main menu.
2. Use q/CID or p/DIR to scroll to >Ringers, then
press MENU/SELECT.
3. Press q/CID or p/DIR to scroll to >Ringer tone,
then press MENU/SELECT.
4. Press q/CID or p/DIR to sample each ringer tone.
5. Press MENU/SELECT to save your preference. There is
a confirmation tone and the screen returns to the main
menu. Press CANCEL to exit.
NOTE: If you turn off the ringer volume, you do not hear ringer tone samples.
LCD Language
You can select the language used for all screen displays
on the telephone base.
To select a language on the telephone base:
1. Press MENU/SELECT in idle mode to enter the
main menu.
2. Use q/CID or p/DIR to scroll to >Settings.
3. Press MENU/SELECT twice to select >LCD language.
4. Press q/CID or p/DIR to highlight English, Français
or Español.
5. Press MENU/SELECT to save your preference and return
to the main menu. Press CANCEL to exit.
Voicemail (visual message waiting) indicator
If you subscribe to a voicemail service offered by your
telephone service provider, this feature provides a visual
indication on the telephone base when you have new
voicemail messages.
New voicemail and appear on the telephone base screen.
NOTES:
1. This feature does not indicate new messages recorded on your phone’s built-in answering system.
2. For more information about the difference between your answering system and voicemail,
see page 59.
