Handset screen icons
Battery status - battery is charging (animated display).
Battery status - low battery (flashing); place handset in
charger to recharge.
Speakerphone - the speakerphone is in use.
Ringer off - the handset ringer is off.
New voicemail - you have new voicemail from your
telephone service provider.
ANS ON Answering system is on.
Message - new message in the built-in answering system.
NEW
New or missed calls.
MUTE
Microphone is off.
Message counter - number of message playing/total
number of messages.
Handset alert tones
One short beep Tone of each key press if key tone is turned on.
One long beep Indication to begin recording a message, memo or announcement.
Two short beeps You are pressing the qCID/-VOLUME or pDIR/VOLUME+ keys when
the volume is already at its highest or lowest setting.
