Directory
Dial, delete and edit a directory entry
f Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to insert a three-second dialing pause
(a P appears).
-OR-
Press REDIAL/PAUSE to copy a number from the redial list. Press / , or
press REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to locate the desired number.
5. Press Next to proceed to enter name.
6. Use the dialing keys to enter a name (up to 15 characters). Press a key
repeatedly until the desired character shows on the screen (see Character
chart on page 93).
f Press / to move the cursor to the le or right.
f Press 0 to add a space.
f Press Backspace to erase a digit.
f Press and hold Backspace to erase all digits.
f Press TONE to change the next letter to upper or lower case.
f Press to return to previous page.
7. Press Next to proceed to selecting Prole Picture.
8. Press / / / to select the desired picture, and press Select to conrm.
9. Press / / / to select the desired color, and press Select to conrm.
10. Press Edit to re-edit or press Save to conrm entry.
Delete a directory entry
Using a cordless handset:
1. While reviewing a directory entry, press MUTE/DELETE on
the handset. The screen shows Delete entry?.
2. Press MENU/SELECT to delete the displayed entry from
the directory. The handset shows Deleting... and then you
hear a conrmation tone. Once deleted, you cannot retrieve that entry.
Using the telephone base:
1. While reviewing a directory entry, press smart key to select the entry.
2. Press DELETE . The screen shows Delete contact?.
3. Press Yes to conrm. Once deleted, you cannot retrieve that entry.
