Telephone operation
Find handset
You can use the nd handset feature to nd
misplaced handsets.
To start the paging tone:
X Press FIND HS on the telephone base to start
the paging tone on all handsets for 60 seconds.
To stop the paging tone:
X Press
PHONE/FLASH, /SPEAKER,
OFF/CANCEL or any dialing key (0-9, or )
on the handset(s).
-OR-
X Press FIND HS on the telephone base.
-OR-
X Place the handset in the telephone base or
charger.
NOTES:
X If you press MUTE on a handset, the ringer of that handset is silenced but the paging tone
continues on the other handsets.
X If a handset is accessing the answering system, on a call (intercom call or outside call), or out
of range, that handset does not beep when paged.
X You cannot use the nd handset feature while the telephone base is playing messages or the
answering system is being accessed remotely.
