Operation Steps
Ending a call Using a cordless handset:
Press
OFF/CANCEL or return the handset to the
telephone base or charger.
Using the telephone base:
Press /LINE 1 or /LINE 2.
Handset
speakerphone
During a call, press /SPEAKER to switch between
handsfree speakerphone and normal handset use.
Redial Using a cordless handset:
REDIAL -> / -> LINE 1, LINE 2 or /SPEAKER to
call.
Using the telephone base:
REDIAL -> / -> /LINE 1 or /LINE 2 to call.
Volume control Using a cordless handset or the telephone base:
Press VOLUME q to decrease or press VOLUME p to
increase the listening volume during a call.
Call waiting
(Requires subscription
from telephone
service provider)
Press LINE 1/FLASH or LINE 2/FLASH on the handset,
or FLASH on the telephone base to put current call
on hold and to take the new call; press again to switch
back and forth between calls.
Mute To mute the microphone on a handset or the
telephone base:
f Press MUTE .
To unmute the microphone on a handset or the
telephone base:
f Press UNMUTE .
Hold To place a call on hold using a handset or the
telephone base:
f Press HOLD.
To resume a call on hold using a handset or the
telephone base:
f Press LINE 1/FLASH or LINE 2/FLASH on the
handset, or press /LINE 1 or /LINE 2 on the
telephone base.
