Directory
The directory can store up to 50 entries, which are shared by all system devices.
Operation Steps
Adding an
entry in the
directory
Using a cordless handset or the telephone base:
1. MENU -> / -> Directory -> SELECT .
2. / -> Add contact -> SELECT .
3. Enter a telephone number up to 30 digits -> NEXT .
4. Enter a name up to 15 characters -> SAVE .
f Press # to insert a space.
Searching/
dialing an
entry
1. Press pDIR on the handset or the telephone base when it is
not in use.
2. / to browse through the directory, or press the dialing
keys (0-9) to start a name search.
3. Press LINE 1, LINE 2 or /SPEAKER on the handset to call.
- OR -
Press /LINE 1 or /LINE 2 on the telephone base to call.
Adding a
caller ID log
entry in the
directory
1. Press CID on the handset or the telephone base when it is
not in use.
2. / to browse -> SAVE to select the desired entry.
3. Edit the telephone number if needed -> NEXT .
4. Edit the name if needed -> SAVE .
Add a speed
dial number
Using a cordless handset or the telephone base:
1. MENU -> / -> Directory -> SELECT .
2. / -> Speed dial -> SELECT .
3. / to choose the desire speed dial location -> REPLACE .
4. / to choose the desire phone number -> ASSIGN .
Make a call
using speed
dial
When the handset or the telephone base is not in use, press and
hold the dialing key (0-9) corresponding to the assigned speed
dial number you wish to call.
