Miscellaneous hints
This service manual has been made as a tool for trained service engineers. Only in combination
with a regular service training it can be used optimal.
1. Safety Instructions
- The device must not be used in explosive environment.
- In case of working on a running equipment there are dangerous high voltages specially in the area
of the lamp
- The eyes must be protected against the Xenon light via protecting glasses (f.e. sun glasses)
- Please take care of yourself and the environment in case of using chemical or biological cleaning
and greasing substances
- For trouble- shooting and calibration only calibrated tools should be used. This is valid specially
for Xenocal-and Radialux- sensors
- The machine is grounded via main plug. Please take care of a good earthing
- The software in the machine is liable to international copyright and software rules
- Only original spare parts may be used in the machine. Specially for warranty claims this is
obligatorical.
