Also, make sure the DDS bacterial and viral filter cartridge is screwed in tightly and that the white seal on the DDS bacterial and viral filter cartridge is correctly positioned. Ensure the disposable suction liner is firmly seated in the outer canister and check all connection points on the secretion canister system. If liquid has penetrated the device, or the pump is defective, send the device in for repair.
