Towing with a tow truck
General hints
Your Audi requires special handling for towing .
The fo llow ing informa ti on is t o be used by com-
mercia l tow tr uck operators who know how t o op -
e rate the ir equip ment safely.
- Never tow your Audi. Towing will cause dam-
age to the engine and transmission .
- Never wrap the safety chains or winch cables
around the brake lines.
- To prevent unnecessary damage, your Audi
must be transported with a flatbed tru ck.
