Emergency situations
- Before driving over a workshop hoist,
check that the vehicle weight does not
exceed the permissible lifting capacity of
the hoist.
- Before driving over a workshop hoist, en-
sure that there is sufficient clearance be-
tween the hoist and low parts of the ve-
hicle.
Vehicle transport

Note
When transporting the vehicle on a car carri-
er, train , ship or by other means, only tie the
vehicle down at the running surface of the
tires, which is the outer circumference. Secur-
ing the vehicle at the axle components, sus-
pension struts or towing eyes is not permitted
because the pressure in the air suspension
struts can change during transport. The vehi-
cle may not be secured sufficiently if this hap-
pens.
