Emergency
assist
Desci
Applies
to:
vehicles
with
emergency
assist
Introduction
Within
the
limits
of
the
system,
emergency
assist
can
detect
inactivity
from
the
driver.
In
these
in-
stances,
the
system
will
give
a
warning,
assume
control
of
the
vehicle
if
necessary,
and
automati
cally
bring
the
vehicle
to
a
stop
in
the
lane.
Availability
of
the
emergency
assist
The
availability
of
emergency
assist
depends
on
whether
you
are
driving with
steering
assist
sys-
tems
or
manually,
and
if
the
emergency
assist
is
switched
on
or
off
in
the
Driver
assistance
menu:
