SBC priority connections (measures for when sound is delayed significantly)
When connected via AAC codec, significant sound delays can be alleviated by changing the connection codec to the
SBC codec, an audio compression format that comes standard with Bluetooth devices.*

Connecting to a SBC priority connection
1. Turn the product power to “ON”.
2. Press and hold the + and - volume buttons simultaneously (for about 2 seconds).
• If this operation is performed after pairing with a Bluetooth device has already been completed, the Bluetooth
device for which pairing was completed will connect automatically.*

• If this operation is performed before pairing with a Bluetooth device has been completed, once the indicator
lamp turns off, the device will again begin searching for devices to pair with and the indicator lamp will flash.
Refer to Steps 2 and 3 of “Pairing a Bluetooth device”(p. 6) to complete pairing.
• Once the SBC priority connection is complete, the lighting pattern of the indicator lamp will change. Refer to
“Indicator lamp display” shown below for a guide of these changes.
• After pairing via an SBC priority connection is complete, the only available connection codec will be SBC.
Connections using other codecs will not be possible.*

*3 Turning the power off and then turning it back on will result in a return to a normal connection and enable connections using other
codecs. Please connect using an SBC priority connection when necessary.
