Switching ambience control
The product features ambience control, in the form of a noise reduction function
(called noise reduction hereafter) and a hear-through function (called hear-through
hereafter), which reduces or enhances outside noise.
You can switch reduces or enhances as follows by long touching (about 2 seconds)
so that your palm covers the upper, center, and lower parts of the touch panel
when the product is on.
Noise reduction ON
Hear-through ON
OFF
Ambience control returns to noise reduction ON next after OFF.
Noise reduction is set by default.
When using ambience control, the function indicator lamp lights as follows.
Lit green: Noise reduction ON/Hear-through ON
Off: Noise reduction and hear-through OFF
Noise reduction
The microphone built into the product detects ambient noise, and outputs a sound-cancelling signal to effectively reduce
noise.
When you turn on the product, noise reduction turns on automatically.
There is a difference in volume when noise reduction is on and off.
Hear-through
This function allows you to hear surrounding sound via the built-in microphone while you listen to music.
Occasionally it may be difficult to hear surrounding sound depending on the volume of the music, etc. that you are
playing. In such a case, turn down the volume of the music, etc.
Even when you use this function, the surrounding sound may be difficult to hear depending on the surrounding
situation, etc. Do not use this product in locations where it may be dangerous if you cannot hear surrounding sound,
such as places with heavy traffic, etc.
