Troubleshooting
Significant sound delays may be mitigated by changing the connection codec from AAC to SBC, which is normally
included in Bluetooth devices. *

Connecting
The procedure is performed while the product and Bluetooth device are paired.
1. Turn on the product.
2. With the music paused, long touch (about 10 seconds) the upper and bottom
parts of the touch panel as shown in the figure.
• The multi-indicator lamp will light in pink once, and then the product will turn
o. It will turn on again and be automatically connected to the Bluetooth
device. *
2
• When settings are complete, only the SBC connection codec will be available.
Other codecs will not be connected.
• For information about the multi-indicator lamp display, refer to “Multi-indicator

*1 Depending on your usage environment, sound delays may not be mitigated even if you
change to SBC priority connection.
*2 If the product is not connected automatically, refer to “Pairing a Bluetooth device” (p.7),
and pair again.
*3 When you turn off the product and turn it on again, the connection returns to normal and
connection with other codecs is enabled. If SBC priority connection is necessary, perform
the SBC priority connection procedure as needed.
