  Restoring Factory Defaults 
4.2  Mediant 600 and Mediant 1000 
The procedure below describes how to reset Mediant 600 and Mediant 1000 to default 
settings using the hardware reset button. 
  To restore Mediant 600 / Mediant 1000 to factory default: 
  With a paper clip or any other similar pointed object, press and hold down the reset 
button (located on the CPU module and labeled //) for at least 12 seconds (no more 
than 25 seconds), and then release the button.

4.3  Mediant 800 MSBG and Mediant 800 GW & E-SBC 
The procedure below describes how to reset the Mediant 800 MSBG to default settings 
using the hardware reset button. 
  To restore Mediant 800 MSBG and Mediant 800 GW & E-SBC to factory default: 
  With a paper clip or any other similar pointed object, press and hold down the reset 
button (located on the front panel) for at least 12 seconds, but no more than 25 
seconds.
