• Channel Settings: Configure the Channel Settings field, as described below.
All settings, except the following, should remain the same as they are shown in the
screen. For more details, refer to the AudioCodes MP-104 User’s Manual.
— DTMF Transport Type: Should match the DTMF Encoding Setting on the
IPRC Device page.
If G. 7 11 is selected in the Audio Settings page on the IPRC Web page, the
DTMF Encoding Setting on the IPRC must be G. 711, and the DTMF Trans-
port Type and MP Transport Type must be set to Transparent MF.
If G. 72 9 is selected in the Audio Settings page on the IPRC Web page, the
DTMF Encoding Setting on the IPRC must be Out-Of-Band, the DTMF
Transport Type must be set to RFC2833 Relay DTMF, and the MF Transport
Type must be set to Relay MF.
NOTE:
If G711 is selected in the Audio Settings page on the IPRC Web page,
all transport types (DTMF and V21/22/23/32/34 Modem) must be set to Trans-
parent.
If G. 7 2 9 is selected on the IPRC, set the DTMF Transport Type to
RFC2833 Relay DTMF and the Fax Transport Type to Transparent.
— Fax/Modem Bypass Coder Type: Select G711MuLaw for US Systems and
G711Alaw_64 for European Systems.
— If you are using Caller ID receivers, change the following settings as described
below.
• Caller ID Transfer Type: Select MUTE.
• Caller ID Type: Select Bellcore.
To apply the changes, click SUBMIT.
