Installation Instructions

Wiring Instructions - Power, Ground, Remote

Power Connection

Connect the battery terminal (+12V) directly to the vehicle battery for adequate voltage and to minimize noise.

Ground Connection

Connect the ground terminal (GND) to a metal part of the vehicle using a wire of the same gauge as the power lead.

Remote Turn-On Connection

Connect the remote turn-on terminal (REM) to the car stereo's 'Auto-Antenna' lead or accessory terminal.

Speaker Connections

Wire speakers to the amplifier terminals, paying attention to polarity and using appropriate gauge wire.

Operation - Controls and Indicators

Power Indicator

The Power LED indicates the amplifier's status: white for off, green for normal operation, red for protection.

Level (Gain) Control

Adjust the Level control to match the car stereo's output for optimal sound without distortion or low output.

Operation - Filter and Boost Settings

Filter Selector

Selects frequency filters (OFF, LOW PASS, HI-PASS) to reproduce specific audio ranges for different speaker setups.

Crossover Frequency Control

Sets the crossover point for LOW PASS or HI-PASS filter settings based on speaker requirements.

Bass Boost Switch

Adds +12 dB or +18 dB bass boost at 45 Hz. to accentuate low frequencies.

Operation - Advanced Features and Fuse

Remote Subwoofer Level Control Input

Allows bass gain adjustment from the passenger compartment using an optional remote control unit.

Fuse

Protects the circuitry; use only fuses of the same rating. Check wiring if fuses blow consistently.
