• A System Unit is defined as a unit that is directly connected to the
Fire Alarm Control Panel’s internal bus system.
• A Loop Unit is defined as either a Point, an I/O-unit or an Electronic
Sounder that is connected to a detection loop.
• A Point is defined as either a detector or a manual call point.
