If your AVANT Compact Loader engine cranks but doesn't start or stalls quickly, consider these possibilities: * Check the fuel level and type; ensure you're using the correct fuel. * Make sure the fuel hoses and fuel filter are clean and not frozen. Replace the fuel filter and clean fuel lines if necessary. * In cold weather, hold the ignition key in the glow position longer. Wait for the glow indicator lamp to turn off before starting, and extend the starting time up to 5 seconds. * Verify you are using the correct type of engine oil. * Ensure the auxiliary hydraulics control lever is in the center (neutral) position. * If the battery is discharged or damaged, jump-start it or replace it.
