4.8 In MIDI Devices – in the MIDI Inputs field, select 1) KeyRig 49 In.
4.9 In the MIDI Outputs field, select 2) Microsoft GS Wavetable SW
Synth.
4.10 In the Port Mapping field, it should display Microsoft GS Wavetable
SW Synth.
4.11 Click OK.
4.12 Test each key on the keyboard with multiple taps. Check for sound
and corresponding data output in MIDI OX on the computer.
4.13 Test MODULATION wheel: hold down a key and slide the wheel up
and down. The sound should modulate. Check for data output in
MIDI OX.
4.14 Test PITCH BEND wheel: hold down a key and slide the wheel up
and down. The sound should vary in pitch. Check for data output in
MIDI OX.
4.15 Test the OCTAVE buttons: tap a key simultaneously with buttons to
hear the note ascend and descend. Check for data output in MIDI
OX.
4.16 Test the Volume slider for sound response.
4.17 Push the Edit Mode button.
4.18 Press the F2 key on the keyboard.
4.19 Check all keys on the keyboard for alternate percussion sounds.
4.20 Press Edit Mode button.
4.21 Press any key on the keyboard to exit the alternate Edit Mode.
4.22 On the computer, close MIDI OX.
4.23 Unplug the USB cable.
4.24 Turn off the KeyRig 49.
