8. When your device switches off, the correct code has been found.
9. Press the respective DEVICE button to stop/store. LED is off.
10. During the Step 6, SET button can be pressed to return the Step 4.
11. During the Step 3~4, the auto search can be exited by pressing the respective DEVICE button twice.
Check whether all applications of your device can be operated with the remote
control keys. (see „Verify setup“).
Tip in Quick search and Auto search:
- Some devices can not be on/off by remote control, in this case, the device may effect the PLAY function to
indicate the correct code has been found.
- The search direction can be changed by pressing the CH+/- button.
- Some other device may be operated during the quick search, it will not affect the quick search setting.
- All the function buttons except POWER and PLAY can be verifi ed without existing the quick search mode. The
function button can not work when the LED blinks.
- If the device locked, LED blinks three times and then exits the setup.
If no button was pressed for more than 30 seconds, setup stops automatically, the LED goes out.
Verify setup
Setup completed, check whether it was successful by following the steps below:
• Switch on the device to be controlled.
• Aim your remote control at the device and press the respective DEVICE button (e.g. TV).
• Now, on your remote control, check the buttons applicable for the device. For example: Press the POWER
button to see whether it switches the device off.
• The LED under the corresponding device key will fl ash once if there is the signal transmitted from the
function button.
Should your remote control still not work, check the code list again and repeat the setup procedure (Direct
code setup or code search) until you fi nd the correct code.
Note the code
Make a note on this manual, it will save your time if you ever need to setup again. If you have forgotten to
note the code you can still “read” the code from your URC in the below way.
Read device code
The LED will fl ash corresponding to the numerals of the 3-digit code. For example: For code 231, the LED would
fl ash two times, then three times, then once.
