4 Child Lock
To store specifi c channels for children, please proceed as described in “Storing Your Favourite Channel“. You
can now activate the Child Lock. In Child Lock mode, only the following buttons will be operative: POWER
VOL+/-, MUTE, DEVICE buttons SET and FAV. Each push on the FAV button skips to the next channel in memory.
It will protect the children from the unsuitable channel program.
1. Press the SET button fi rst and hold it down while pressing the TV button, LED under TV device key lights,
release both buttons.
2. Then, one after the other, press 9 – 2 – 1.
To switch off Child Lock mode:
1. Press the SET button fi rst and hold it down while pressing the TV button, LED under TV device key light,
release both buttons.
2. Then, one after the other, press 9 – 2 – 2.
5 Device lock and unlock
The desired device can be locked so that the setting can not be changed by
mistake.
1. Press the SET button fi rst and hold it down while pressing the desired device button, LED under the
corresponding device button lights, release both buttons.
2. Then, one after the other, press 9 – 1 –1.
With device locked, the code set for this device can not be changed anymore.
To device unlock:
1. Press the SET button fi rst and hold it down while pressing the desired device button, LED lights, release
both buttons.
2. Then, one after the other, press 9 – 1 –2.
6 Operational reset
The operational reset will erase all the set function. The operation will not be reversible, so please consider
it carefully before you do this.
1. The process is enter the code 990 as described in „Direct code setup” for any of the devices.
2. The LED under TV device button will blink three times to show the reset succeed.
