Thepixelcountershowsthenumberofpixelsinanareaoftheimage.Thepixelcounterisusefulinsituationswherethereisa
specicsizerequirement,forexampleforobjectidentication.
Thepixelcountercanbeused:
•Whensettingupavideostream,seeHowtosetupvideostreamsonpage16.UnderPreview,clickOpenandselectthe
Showpixelcounteroptiontoenabletherectangleintheimage.Usethemousetomoveandresizetherectangle,orenter
thenumberofpixelsintheWidthandHeighteldsandclickApply.
•WhenaccessingtheLiveViewpageinInternetExplorerwithAXISMediaControl(AMC)inWindows.Right-clickinthe
imageandselectPixelcounter.Usethemousetomoveandresizetherectangle.

ThedefaultimagesettingscanbeconguredunderVideo>VideoStream.SelecttheImagetab.
Thefollowingsettingsareavailable:
•Resolution.Selectthedefaultresolution.
•Compression.Thecompressionlevelaffectstheimagequality,bandwidthandlesizeofsavedimages;thelowerthe
compression,thehighertheimagequalitywithhigherbandwidthrequirementsandlargerlesizes.
•Mirrorimage.Ifrequired,theimagecanbemirrored.
•Rotateimage.Ifrequired,theimagecanberotated.
•Maximumframerate.Toavoidbandwidthproblems,theframerateallowedtoeachviewercanbeLimitedtoaxed
amount.Alternatively,theframeratecanbesetasUnlimited,whichmeanstheAxisproductalwaysdeliversthehighest
frameratepossibleunderthecurrentconditions.
