1.GotoCallbutton.
2.TurnoffMakecallsinthevideomanagementsystem(VMS).
3.UnderRecipients,selectacontact.
Todisablethecallbutton,turnoffEnablecallbutton.
Setupascardreader-networkconnection
Tousethedoorstationasacardreader,youmustconnectittoadoorcontroller.Thedoorcontrollerstoresallcredentialsand
keepstrackofwhoisallowedthroughthedoor.Inthisexampleweconnectthedevicesoverthenetwork.Wealsomodifythe
allowedcardtypes.

ThenetworkconnectiononlyworkswithAxisdoorcontrollers.Toconnecttoanon-Axisdoorcontroller,youneedto
physicallyconnectthedeviceswithwires.SeeSetupascardreader-wiredconnectiononpage12.

Setupthedoorstationasacardreader
1.GotoReader>Readerprotocol.
2.SelecttheVAPIXreaderprotocoltype.
3.Selecttheprotocolforcommunicatingwiththedoorcontroller.
