Note
•Theviewinfrontofthecamerashouldnotbechangedduringfocusadjustment(steps5and6).Ifthecameraismoved,orif
angerorotherobjectisplacedinfrontofthelens,steps3–7belowwillhavetoberepeated.
•Ifmovementsinfrontofthecameracannotbeavoided,theFocusAssistantshouldnotbeused.
•Ifthecontrolbuttonisnotreleasedwithintwoseconds,AXISDynamicDNSServiceisenabledinsteadoftheFocusAssistant.
•Ifthecameraismountedsothatthecontrolbuttoncannotbeaccessed,youcanstillusetheFocusAssistant.Followthe
instructionsbutmountthecameraafterstep4(pressingthecontrolbutton)insteadandskipstep7.
1.Mountorplacethecamerasothatitcannotbemoved.
2.Loosenthezoompullerbyturningitanti-clockwise.Movethepullertosetthezoomlevel.Retightenthezoompuller.
3.Setthecameratoitsextremedistant-focuspositionbylooseningthefocuspullerandturningthefocusringfullyclockwise.
4.Pressandquicklyreleasethecontrolbutton.Whenthestatusindicatorashesgreen,theFocusAssistantisenabled.If
thestatusindicatorasheseitherredoramberbeforeyouareabletoadjustthelens,skiptostep7toexittheFocus
Assistantandrepeatsteps3–7.
5.Gentlyturnthefocusringanti-clockwiseuntilitstops.
6.Finally,turnthefocusringslowlyclockwiseuntilthestatusindicatorashesgreenoramber(notred).
7.ToexittheFocusAssistant,pressthecontrolbutton.TheFocusAssistantisswitchedoffautomaticallyafter15minutes.
8.Retightenthefocuspuller.
9.OpentheLiveViewpageinthewebbrowserandcheckthequalityoftheimage.
