5.Anewviewareacoversthewholeimage.Usethemousetomoveandresizetheviewarea.
6.SelectEnablePTZtoenabledigitalPTZfortheviewarea.
7.ClickSavetosavethesettings.
Tomodifyaviewarea,selecttheviewareainthelistandmodifythesettingsasrequired.ClickSave.
Toremoveaviewarea,selecttheviewareaandclickRemove.
Note
ThePTZfunctionalityisusefulduringinstallationoftheAxisproduct.Useaviewareatocropoutaspecicpartofthe
fullview.
Overlay
Overlaysareusedtoprovideextrainformation,suchasforensicvideoanalysisorduringproductinstallationandconguration.
Overlaysaresuperimposedoverthevideostream.
Anoverlaytextcandisplaythecurrentdateandtime,oratextstring.
Whenusingatextstring,modierscanbeusedtodisplayinformationsuchasthecurrentbitrateorthecurrentframerate.

Itisalsopossibletodisplaytextwhenanactionruleistriggered,seeUseOverlayTextinanActionRule.
