Itispossibletochangethepassphrasewithoutreformattingthecard.OpenStorageManagement,clickEncryptandentertheold
andnewpassphrases.Thepassphrasecanonlybechangedwhenthecardismounted.Ongoingrecordingswillnotbeaffectedif
thepassphraseischanged.
Todisableencryption,unmounttheSDcardandfollowthestepsabovebutcleartheEnableSDcardencryptionoption.Thecard
mustbeformattedandmountedwhenencryptionhasbeendisabled.
NetworkShare
NetworkshareallowsyoutoaddnetworkstoragesuchasaNAS(network-attachedstorage).TheNASshallbededicatedfor
recordingsanddatafromtheAxisproductsconnectedtothenetwork.ForinformationaboutreferenceNASdevices,goto

5.Ifrequired,selectThesharerequiresloginandentertheusernameandpassword.
6.ClickConnect.
ToclearallrecordingsanddatafromtheAxisproduct’sfolderonthedesignatedshare,clickClearunderStorageTools.
Toavoidllingtheshare,itisrecommendedtoremoverecordingscontinuously.UnderRecordingSettings,selectRemoverecordings
olderthanandselectthenumberofdaysorweeks.
Tostopwritingtotheshareandprotectrecordingsfrombeingremoved,selectLockunderRecordingSettings.
