appliedonthevideostream.PrivacymaskscannotbebypassedusingtheVAPIX®applicationprogramminginterface(API).
ThePrivacyMaskList(Video&Audio>PrivacyMask)showsallthemasksthatarecurrentlyconguredintheAxisproductand
indicatesiftheyareenabled.
Youcanaddanewmask,re-sizethemaskwiththemouse,chooseacolorforthemask,andgivethemaskaname.

Addingmanyprivacymasksmayaffecttheproduct’sperformance.
Setfocusandzoom
Focusandzoomshouldonlybeconguredwheninstallingorreinstallingtheproduct.
1.InstallthecameraasdescribedintheInstallationGuide.
2.GotoSetup>Video&Audio.
3.OnthefocuspagegototheBasictab.
4.Setthezoomlevelusingtheslider.
Note
Movementsinfrontofthecamerashouldbeavoidedwhenperformingautofocus.
5.ClickPerformautofocus.
6.Iftheresultisnotsatisfactory,gototheAdvancedtab.
Note
Changingthezoomlevelmovesthefocusposition.Focusshouldalwaysbeadjustedafterchangingthezoom.
OntheAdvancedtab,focuscanbeadjustedmanually:
1.ClickOpeniristoopentheiristoitsmaximumposition.Thisgivesthesmallestdepthofeldandprovidesthebest
conditionsforfocusing.
2.FocusissetintheFocuswindow.Usethemousetomoveandresizethefocuswindow.
3.ClickintheFocuspositionbartofocusonadesiredlocation.
4.Whensatised,clickEnableiristoenabletheiris.
Howtochangeaudiosettings
Tochangetheproduct’saudiosettings,gotoVideo&Audio>AudioSettings.
Toincludetheaudiostreaminavideostream,gotoVideo&Audio>VideoStream.UndertheAudiotab,selectEnableaudio.
Eachstreamproleisaseparatevideostream.Toincludetheaudiostreaminallstreamproles,gototheaudiotabineachstream
