Why am I having problems setting the IP address on my Axis P3304?

  If the IP address intended for the Axis Security Camera and the IP address of your computer are on different subnets, you cannot set the IP address. Contact your network administrator to get a suitable IP address. If the IP address is already in use, disconnect the camera and run the Ping command. If you receive a reply, the IP address is in use; obtain a new one and reinstall the unit. If the request times out, the IP address is available; check all cabling and reinstall the unit. Also, if the same default static IP address is used by another device, set the static IP address to 0.0.0.0 to avoid conflicts.

  If ONVIF is not working on your Axis Security Camera, it might have been disabled for security when the camera was accessed over VAPIX. To enable ONVIF, reset the product to its factory default settings.

  If H.264 images from your Axis Security Camera render poorly, set the color depth to 16-bit or 32-bit. If text overlays are blurred, enable Advanced Video Rendering from the H.264 tab in the AMC control panel applet. Also, ensure your graphics card uses the latest device driver, which you can download from the manufacturer's website.
