Youcancreaterulestomakeyourdeviceperformanactionwhencertaineventsoccur.Aruleconsistsofconditionsandactions.
Theconditionscanbeusedtotriggertheactions.Forexample,thedevicecanstartarecordingorsendanemailwhenitdetects
motion,orshowanoverlaytextwhilethedeviceisrecording.

Triggeranaction
1.GotoSystem>Eventsandaddarule.Theruledeneswhenthedevicewillperformcertainactions.Youcanset
uprulesasscheduled,recurring,ormanuallytriggered.
2.EnteraName.
3.SelecttheConditionthatmustbemettotriggertheaction.Ifyouspecifymorethanoneconditionfortherule,allofthe
conditionsmustbemettotriggertheaction.
4.SelectwhichActionthedeviceshouldperformwhentheconditionsaremet.

Ifyoumakechangestoanactiverule,therulemustbeturnedonagainforthechangestotakeeffect.
Recordvideowhenthecameradetectsanobject
ThisexampleexplainshowtosetupthecameratostartrecordingtotheSDcardvesecondsbeforeitdetectsanobjectandto
stoponeminuteafter.
1.Starttheapplicationifitisnotalreadyrunning.
2.Makesureyouhavesetuptheapplicationaccordingtoyourneeds.

4.Inthelistofstorageoptions,selectSD_DISK.
5.Selectastreamprole.
6.Settheprebuffertimeto5seconds.
7.Setthepostbuffertimeto60seconds.
8.ClickSave.
