•Makesurethattheexposuremodeisautomatic.
Note
Increasingthemaxshuttervaluecanresultinmotionblur.
•Theshutterspeedshouldbeasslowaspossible,whichmeansyoushouldsetmaxshuttertothehighestpossiblevalue.
•Reducesharpnessintheimage.
•Tryloweringthemaxgainvalue.
HowtobenetfromIRlightinlow-lightconditionsusingnightmode
Yourcameradeliverscolorimagesduringtheday.Aslightdiminishes,youcansetthecameratoautomaticallyshifttonightmode.
Thisenablesdeliveringblack-and-whiteimageswiththehelpofIRlight.
1.GotoSettings>Image>Dayandnight,andmakesurethattheIRcutlterissettoAuto.
2.Todetermineatwhatlightlevelyouwantthecameratoshifttonightmode,settheDay-nightshiftprioritytoDay,
NightorNone.

Thereareseveralexposuremodeoptionsinthecamerathatadjustsaperture,shutterspeed,andgaintoimproveimagequalityfor
specicsurveillancescenes.IntheImagetab,selectbetweenthefollowingoptions:
•Formostusecases,selectAutomaticexposure.
•Ifyouneedfullcontrolofallparameters,mostlyusefulforsceneswithlittlechangeinlighting,selectManual.

Ifyoumaximizedetailsinanimage,bitrateincreasesandmightleadtoreducedframerate.
•Makesuretoselectcapturemodethathasthehighestresolution.
•Setcompressionaslowaspossible.
•SelectMJPEGstreaming.
•TurnofftheZipstreamfunctionality.
HowtostabilizeashakyimagewithElectronicImageStabilization(EIS)
EIScanbeusedinenvironmentswheretheproductismountedinanexposedlocationandsubjecttovibrations,forexample,wind
orpassingtrafc.TurnonEIStogetasmootherandsteadierimagewithoutblur.
EISalsoreducesthelesizeofthecompressedimageandlowersthebitrateofthevideostream.
