RecordedvideosarelistedontheRecordings>Listpage.Thelistshowseachrecording’sstartdateandtime,durationandthe
eventthattriggeredtherecording.
Toplayordownloadarecording,followthesesteps:
1.GotoRecordings>List.
2.Usetheltertonarrowthelistofrecordings.EnterthedesiredltercriteriaandclickFilter.Someltersmaytake
alongtimetocomplete.
3.Selecttherecording.
4.ClickPlaytoplaytherecording,orclickDownloadtodownloadtherecording.
Multiplerecordingscanbedownloadedatthesametime.SelecttherecordingsandclickDownload.Thedownloadedleisaziple
containingaminimumofthreeles,ofwhichtheMatroska(mkv)lesaretheactualrecordings.Therecordingsaretime-stamped
withthedateandtimetheyweredownloaded(thatis,notthedatetherecordingsweremade).

Toremovearecording,selecttherecordingandclickRemove.
ContinuousRecording
TheAxisproductcanbeconguredtocontinuouslysavevideotoastoragedevice.Forinformationaboutstoragedevices,seeStorage
onpage50.Topreventthediskfrombecomingfull,itisrecommendedtocongurethedisktoautomaticallyremoveoldrecordings.
Ifanewstreamproleisselectedwhilearecordingisongoing,therecordingwillbestoppedandsavedintherecordinglistanda
newrecordingwiththenewstreamprolewillstart.Allpreviouscontinuousrecordingswillremainintherecordinglistuntilthey
areremovedmanuallyorthroughautomaticremovalofoldrecordings.
Tostartacontinuousrecording,followthesesteps:
1.GotoRecordings>Continuous.
2.SelectEnabled.
3.SelectthetypeofstoragedevicefromtheStoragelist.
4.SelectaStreamproletouseforcontinuousrecordings.Toincludeaudiointherecording,useAACaudioencodingand
makesurethataudioisenabledintheselectedstreamprole.
