Method:
1. In a blender or processor, combine nuts, egg and
milk.
2. Blend until nuts are finely chopped.
3. Mix in remaining ingredients.
Variations:
1. Substitute pecans or walnuts for pistachios.
2. Substitute ¾ cup maple syrup for sugar.
EASY VANILLA ICE CREAM
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups whole milk
½ cup sugar
dash salt
2/3 cup half and half
1/3 cup whipping cream
½ tsp. vanilla extract
Method:
1. Combine milk, sugar and salt.
2. Stir with a wire whisk until sugar is dissolved.
3. Stir in half and half, whipping cream and vanilla.
OLD FASHIONED VANILLA ICE CREAM
Ingredients:
¾ cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 ¾ cup whole milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 ½ cup whipping cream
1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract
