CHECKING & CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
TAP AIR FILTER ON A FIRM SURFACE TO DISLODGE AS MUCH DIRT AND
debris as possible. NOTE: If tapping air lter does not remove the dirt and debris,
replace air lter.
CAUTION
The air lter element must be intact or the engine will suck in dust and dirt,
resulting in a shorter service life of the engine.
Water should be prevented from entering into the lter when washing the
vehicle.
The lter element shall be cleaned gently. Replace the air lter element with
a new one if it is broken or cracked.
