ADJUSTMENT OF REAR BRAKE
1. To make adjustment, turn rear adjusting nut clockwise to increase braking or
counterclockwise to decrease braking.
2. Brake shoes should be replaced by a qualied service technician once brake
shoes are worn.

ADJUSTMENT OF FRONT BRAKE
1. The front hand brake lever should have free operating movement of
5 - 7 mm (0.2 - 0.3 in.) .
2. To make adjustment on brake lever, loosen jam nut then turn adjusting nut
counter-clockwise to reduce and clockwise to increase the free operating
movement of the front hand brake lever
3. To make adjustment on brake cable tension, turn adjusting nut located on the
front hub assembly. Clockwise to increase braking and counter-clockwise to
decrease braking.
4. Brake shoes should be replaced by a qualied service technician once brake
shoes are worn.
5 - 7 mm free play (0.2 - 0.3 in)
