4. Max. ow reached: Once the maximum total ow (18
l/min.) is reached, this is signalled visually in the top right
and a signal tone sounds.
Error codes
If an error code appears in a pop-up window, acknowl-
edge the message and switch o the unit immediately.
Please tell your service partner which code appeared.
E.g. Pop-up: “An error has occurred (code 0X4).
Please contact the Service team.”
The possible error codes are: 0X1, 0X2, 0X4, 0X8 and
0X16.
CAUTION! If an error code appears, switch o the
unit immediately! You may only sedate again once
the error has been rectied!
6.4 Regular checks
The following checks must be carried out regularly for
the protection of patients and sta.
You must also have the unit serviced annually and have
safety checks performed on it by Baldus Medizintechnik
GmbH or an authorised service partner. An information
window in the display appears when the annual service
is due. The next service date can also be viewed in the
Service menu.
CAUTION! Blocked lters can cause malfunctions!
Have annual safety checks and maintenance per-
formed, including lter checks.
Service sta (employees or partners of Baldus Mediz-
intechnik GmbH) can use a service USB stick to access
the Maintenance menu and various information. All
errors which have arisen can be read and exported, for
example. Furthermore, all data relating to sedations can
be read and exported: number of sedations, concentra-
tions, litres, treatment times, etc. There is also a counter
and information on how often the unit was switched on
and powered down correctly.
The operator can manipulate sedation logs exported
as .txt les,

supply pressure must be checked and the O
