Cabling
Use Category 5 cabling for RJ-45 port connection. The cable between
the switch and the network device (switch, hub, workstation, etc.) must
be less than 328 feet (100 meters) long.
Single-mode fiber ports must use 9/125 um single-mode fiber cable.
The cable length can be up to 30 Kilometers.
Multi-mode fiber ports must use 50 or 62.5/125 um multi-mode fiber
cable. The cable length can be up to 2Kilometers.
