5.INSTALLATIONOFACCESSORIES:
5.1.INSTALLINGTHEANTENNA:
Install the antenna as shown in the figure below and turn it clockwise until it stops.
Note:
‐Wheninstallingtheantenna,don’trotateitbyitstop,
holdingitbyitsbaseandturn.
‐Ifyouuseanexternalantenna,makesurethe‘SWR’is
about1.5:1orless,toavoiddamagetothetransceiver's
finaltransistors.
‐Donotholdtheantennawithyourhandorwraptheoutside
ofittoavoidbadoperationofthetransceiver.
‐Nevertransmitwithoutanantenna.
5.2.INSTALLINGTHEBELTCLIP:
If necessary, install the belt clip at the rear of the battery compartment cover as
shown in the figure below.
Note:
‐Donotuseanykindofgluetofixthescrewonthebeltclip.
