Receive - Digital Coded Squelch (DCS): Mutes the speaker of the transceiver in the absence of a
specific low level digital signal. If the station you are listening to does not transmit this specific
signal, you will not hear anything.
Availability: MR/Channel Mode (Read Only), VFO/Frequency Mode, Separate VFO A & B Settings, Stored in Channel

Note: When R-DCS is not set to OFF, 'DCS' is indicated to the left of the upper channel display.

in the absence of a specific and continuous sub-audible signal. If the station you are listening to
does not transmit this specific and continuous signal, you will not hear anything.
