CRALWER MAINTENANCE CONTINUED
REMOVING THE CRALWER TRACK
Position the track so that the master pin is within the lower section of
the front idler. Secure grouser shoe with wooden block against falling
out after opening the track. Remove tension in track by slowly and
carefully unscrewing the grease nipple a few turns untill grease
begins to come out, WARNING: Do not completly unscrew
grease nipple.
Remove grouser shoe above master pin. Remove cotter pin that holds
in pin on master link. Press or hammer out the master pin in the master
link. WARNING: Pin is hardend and may chip when hammered
on, always wear saftey glasses. Pull the track off in the drive
direction using suitable lifting gear.
