How to troubleshoot a Barnes Water Pump that will not run?

  If your Barnes Water Pump won't run, start by checking all electrical connections to ensure they are secure. Also, inspect the fuse and breaker for any interruptions. If the current in the motor leads is within ±20% of the locked rotor Amps, the impeller is likely locked. If the current is 0, the overload may be tripped. In this case, remove power, allow the pump to cool, and then recheck the current. Also ensure that the liquid level is at least equal to the suggested turn-on point.
