Step 4. From the inside of the riser tap the clearance hole
from Step 3 with a ¾-14 NPT. (See Fig. 5)
Step 5. Apply silicone sealant to the threads of the provided
¾” cord grip. (See Fig. 6)
Step 6. Insert and tighten cord grip in tapped hole until the
hex fl ange of the cord drip meets the riser wall. (See Fig. 7)
Step 7. Loosen cord grip nut then feed direct burial cable
through the cord grip. Feed cable up to taped line. Yellow
for a deep station or white for a shallow station. Tighten
cord grip nut securely to seal. (See Fig. 8)
