Apply thread sealant to the threads of the NPT to SLIP ﬁ tting that is on the direct burial cable.

Thread and tighten the ﬁ tting into the adapter.

STEP 7: ADAPTER / CONDUIT LAYOUT

Cut drain tile to proper elevation at bottom

of corrugation

Step 1. On riser, trim top side edge at cut zone. The cut

zone is just above the corregation as shown in Fig 1 and

Fig 2.

Step 2. Measure down from trimmed edge to locate direct

burial cable depth. Depth varies per local codes. Go to the

next corregation valley to achieve depth.

Step 3. Drill a tap diameter hole using the

/64“ drill bit

between the corregation valley as shown in Fig. 4.
