If camera power will be supplied via the terminal connector:
6. Make sure that your power supply meets the camera power requirements
stated in Table 1 on page 19 and the wire size requirements stated on
page 18.
7. Using the technique described on page 18, insert the ground wire from the
power supply into pin 1 of the black, 8-pin Weidmüller plug on the back of
the camera and the positive wire into pin 3.
The positive wire is typically marked with a white stripe, a colored stripe, or
some similar type of marking as shown below. (if you are unsure which wire
is positive, use a voltmeter to identify the positive wire.)
8. If you will be connecting devices to the DC Out, I/O, or RS-485 pins in the
camera’s terminal connector:
a. Read the information in Section 4 regarding the pin numbering and pin
functionality for the terminal connector and determine how you want to
connect the devices to the camera.
b. Insert the device wires into the Weidmüller plug on the back of the
camera.
