What to do if my Bauknecht BCIO 3C33 EC Dishwasher does not start or respond to commands?
    • D
      Dr. Robin JohnsonAug 13, 2025
If your Bauknecht Dishwasher isn't starting or responding, here are some things to check: * Make sure the appliance is properly plugged into the socket. * In case of a power outage, open the dishwasher door, press the START/Pause button, and close the door within 4 seconds to restart. * Ensure the dishwasher door is fully closed until you hear a 'click'. * If the cycle was interrupted by opening the door for more than 4 seconds, press START/Pause and close the door within 4 seconds. * If the display shows 9 or 12 and the On/Off LED is blinking rapidly, switch the appliance off and on again after a minute. If the problem continues, unplug the appliance for 1 minute, then plug it back in.

If your Bauknecht Dishwasher isn’t draining, it could be due to several reasons: * The wash cycle may not be finished yet; wait until it completes. * The drain hose might be bent; check and straighten it. * The sink drain pipe could be blocked; clean it. * The filter might be clogged with food residues; clean the filter.

Why is crockery not cleaned well in my Bauknecht BCIO 3C33 EC?
    • B
      Bobby ClarkAug 21, 2025
If your crockery isn't getting cleaned well in your Bauknecht Dishwasher, consider these potential causes: * The crockery may not have been arranged properly. * The spray arms might be blocked by the dishes, preventing them from rotating freely. * The selected wash cycle might be too gentle; choose a more appropriate cycle. * Too much foam might have been produced because the detergent wasn't measured correctly or isn't suitable for dishwashers. * The cap on the rinse aid compartment might not be closed correctly; ensure it's shut. * The filter could be dirty or clogged; clean the filter assembly. * There might not be enough salt; fill the salt reservoir.

    • J
      Jonathan WalkerSep 5, 2025
If dishes are rattling against each other in your Bauknecht Dishwasher: * Make sure the crockery is positioned correctly. * An excessive amount of foam may have been produced. The detergent has not been measured out correctly or it is not suitable for use in dishwashers. Restart the current cycle by switching OFF the dishwasher, then switch it on again, select a new program, press START/Pause and close the door within 4 seconds. Please do not add any detergent.

Why does my Bauknecht Dishwasher finish prematurely?
    • G
      glovertanyaSep 8, 2025
If your Bauknecht Dishwasher is finishing its cycle too early: * The drain hose might be positioned too low, or there could be siphoning into the home sewage system. Check if the end of the drain hose is placed at the correct height. Check for siphoning into the home sewage system, install air admittance valve if necessary. * There may be air in the water supply. Check the water supply for leaks or other issues letting air inside.
