Adjusting Rinse Aid Dispenser
The r inse aid di spense r has s ix or f our s ettin gs. Always st art with t he dis penser
set o n " 4". If s pots and poor dryi ng a re a pro ble m, incr ease th e am ount of r inse
aid dispensed by removing the dispenser lid and rotating the dial to "5". If the
dis he s still are not drying pr operly o r are show sp ots, adjust t he di al to th e next
highe r le ver u ntil your dishes are sp ot-fr ee. T he recom mended se tting is "4".
(Factory val ue is "4".)

Based on their chemical composition, detergents can be split in two basic types:
De terg ent t able ts of differen t brand s disso lve at diff erent spe eds. For this reason som e
det erge nt t ablets ca nnot d issolve an d de velop th eir f ull cl eaning power d uring sho rt
pro gra ms. The refore please use lon g progr ams wh en u sing d etergent t ablets, to
ensure the complete removal of detergent residuals.
The dispenser mus t be refilled before the start o f each wash c ycle following the instructions
pro vided i n the wash cy cle t able . Yo ur dishwash er uses l ess detergent an d ri nse a id th an
Co nvention al d ishwasher. General ly, onl y on e ta bles poon of detergent is needed for
a normal wash load. More heavily soiled items need more detergent.Always add the
det erge nt j ust befor e st artin g t he d is hwasher, otherw ise it could g et d amp and wil l not
dis solv e pr operly.

N ormally new pulv eris ed d etergent is w ithout p hosph at e. T hus t he w ater soft ene r fun ction of
phosp hate is not g iven. In this case we recommend to fi ll sa lt in t he s alt c ontaine r even w hen
the hardness of water is only6 dH. If detergents without phosphate are used in the case of hard water
of ten whit e sp ots appe ar o n dishes and gla sses. In this case ple ase add mor e detergent to re ach
bet ter resu lts. Detergents with out c hlorine do o nly b leach a little. Str ong and coloured sp ots w il l not
be rem oved c ompl etely. In this c ase ple ase choo se a pr ogra m w ith a hig her t emp erature.
